Up for auction is this very well kept 2000 Honda Insight Hatchback. I am the 3rd owner of this lovely car. Purchased in California, driven all the way home to Carolina. Auction will include all original paperwork & maintenance records.
All functions are in good condition including heat, air conditioning, bluetooth/mp3/cd player etc. Vehicle drives and steers nice and tight, engine is in great condition, no issues. Tires are in good condition. Vehicle is a manual, 5-speed transmission. Battery is about 3-years old and includes a grid charger (see photos).
Being a 2000, there are the occasional dings and scratches but none worthy of particular mention. The rear-hatch must be opened with the key. (see photos)
In summary, this vehicle gets me around town reliably every week & would drive this vehicle across the country without hesitation. Please note, I reserve to sell the vehicle locally if a local offer is accepted.

** Note: transmission shifts smoothly however downshifting from 3rd to 2nd will grind unless the shift is speed matched at a low rpm. This is a known weak point on the 1st generation insight and has not impacted reliability for me since purchase. Just occured to me and wanted to note this to prospective buyers.
